Weld seam measurement
The two illustrations below demonstrate applications for weld seam scanning. In these applications the OPTIscan’s / OPTImess 2D’s sensor exit is used for directing the welding robot.
The OPTIscan / OPTImess 2D can simultaneously detect the centre line of the welding groove, the groove’s depths, and the angle between welding head and basic material.
