The measuring method
The length measurement follows the principle of pulse echo method. The emitted ultrasonic pulse reaches the object after a time given through the sonic speed in the air, and will be reflected to the sensor. In modification to the reflection at a hard surface, the reflection at the pipe measurement is generated at the end of the pipe through the abrupt changes of air resistance.
